The Zero Hold Up Filter Press is a horizontal-plate refinement of the traditional Sparkler Filter Press. Liquid is pumped under pressure through a stack of plates and filter media; suspended solids form a cake on the media while a clear, particle-free filtrate passes through. The defining advantage is in the name — the horizontal plate geometry channels and discharges almost the entire liquid volume, so very little product is trapped inside the machine at the end of a batch.
